A: It’s about 3 hours via PC’s USB port, 1.5 hours via Apple
original USB charger.
Q: How long will it take to fully charge the iphone by this
battery?
A: About 1.5hours
Q: Can the battery alone charge the iphone 4 to full?
A: Due to the charging efficiency and iPhone 4 internal battery
capacity, it won’t. In ideal situation, when fully charged, the
battery can charge the iphone 4 to about 80% full when iPhone 4
battery goes exhausted. This can extend iphone 4 standby time up to
350hours, talk time 14 hours (2G network, 7 hours in 3G network),
audio play up to 45hours, video up to 10 hours.
Q: Can IP15F charge the iPhone 4 full when out of power?
A: The iPhone 4 has an internal battery rated at a 1420 mAh capacity.
So does this mean a new 1500 mAh battery pack can provide an iPhone
with ample power for a full charge? No, actually it does not. All
external battery packs lose some energy when powering another
devices. There is typically a 75% to 85% efficiency in this
charging process. The IP15F high quality lithium-ion polymer cells
deliver up to a 85% efficiency rating when powering your iPhone4.
Along with its 1500mAh internal battery, that will provide about
90% iPhone4 charge. It needs the compromises between high capacity
and slim size.
Q: When the iphone 4 connect to the battery and battery connect to
electrical source, which will be charged?
A: iPhone 4 will be charged first for about 3 hours to full, then
the battery about 1.5-3 hours to full. (Depends on the charging
current)
